Buildings with personality.

One of my favorite books about architecture is The Architecture of Happiness by Alain de Botton, which has several wonderful quotes in it. One of them is March 16’s daily design idea: “It seems reasonable to suppose that people will possess some of the qualities of the buildings they are drawn to.” I completely agree that there are parallels between someone’s personality and their architectural tastes, and it’s often quite interesting to consider what those parallels mean.

Just for fun – here are some buildings that I’ve been drawn to lately:
Dancing House – Prague
Carabanchel Housing – Madrid
The Grand Palais – Paris
