Jukebox menus.

This fairly silly but definitely executable idea came out of a recent misunderstanding with a waiter. After asking where the cocktail menu was, my friend Hannah mistakenly thought that it was incorporated into our table’s jukebox after the waiter fairly vaguely pointed down the table towards the menu. Turns out she accidentally came up with a great idea for repurposing the now purely-decorative jukeboxes!

Here’s a photo of a jukebox that’s been edited with humorous content as well as an adorable Flash menu for two musical brothers for hire. In a restaurant setting, this format would obviously require some serious crowding around the jukebox for menu-reading, but maybe that’s not such a bad thing on a social night out.

March 26’s daily design idea is what other restaurant items could you repurpose into menus?
