If you enjoyed our recent post about Vanessa Chew‘s work at this year’s Pratt Show (specifically her turntable-inspired place mats), then you’ll definitely appreciate these two finds:

Wang, Jinsheng Studio‘s booth at ICFF features turntables with stone slabs. Some are still playable, while others have been turned into record-sized fountains and sand gardens. Photo by Core77.

Diesel’s new furniture line includes the Xraydio 2 Disk coffee table. The effect is created “by printing the X-ray of a dj console on glass.”

May 16’s daily design idea is your hobbies and passions should influence your interior design choices. If you love turntables and vinyl, make them a part of your everyday environment.
