Time to add General Electric to the list of companies that care. They recently launched a visualization program on their website that helps you figure out how much power, gas, and dollars you use up with specific home appliances. The gorgeous, simple, and super user-friendly site (designed by the graphic design gurus at Pentagram) even tells you how soon you can make back the money you’ll spend when replacing an older appliance with a new Energy Star equivalent.  Talk about making things eco-easy.
