Daily Design Idea is a diverse collection of design-related ideas, published daily(ish), that is written and curated by Gisela Garrett. You can follow her on Twitter for even more frequent design-related ideas!

Gisela Garrett is a design lover with particular passions for the psychology of space, user experience, and social enterprise. In addition to her freelance writing and design, Gisela works for the New York office of global architecture firm Perkins+Will. She holds a BA in Visual Studies from the University of Pennsylvania (and has started to shop around for graduate programs specializing in the management of public interest architecture and design). Gisela started Daily Design Idea in 2010 to ensure that design would be an everyday part of her life.

Quentin Regos is a source of R+D and a contributor for Daily Design Idea. He is a risk-taking, self-starting, graphic designer and rock/metal/fusion band manager. His formal education takes the form of a Communications Design degree from Pratt Institute, but he’s learned just as much (if not more) in the streets, studios, galleries, and clubs of New York doing a range of culturally-focused freelance gigs. Professionally, Quentin is currently engaged in underground event planning, brand identity development, innovative digital and print collateral, grassroots promotion, and kick-ass music.
